Hip-Hop
Hip-Hop is most alluring in its ability to stir ambition, confidence, or determination. Lyrics on bling and sex are humorous at best, degrading at worst. Contrary to common belief, its well possible to uncover tracks with deeper understanding of the human condition than most contemporary radio garbage. A well crafted track grabs one in a way not possible through rock or dance. A gifted spitter has a presence that transcends artificial studio wizardry. Hip-hop enjoys an amazing flexibility, one which grants it the power to synthesize and reconcile organic music with its layered production, often resulting in a breathtaking track stronger than the sum of its parts.
