Looks like the University of Colorado is holding its own, despite last year's slurry of scandals.The Economist just published a survey of the best universities world-wide (Sep. 8, 2005 edition), separating the rankings by both public and private.
CU is the 11th best public university in the world, and the 35th best university overall!
